Hi! I’m Davena (she/her) and I am honored you are here. As a therapist, my goal is to provide a supportive, welcoming space and for you to feel empowered to achieve your goals and create the change you desire in your life. The adults I have worked with feel genuinely supported and are better able to manage the ups and downs of life, achieve their goals and regain the confidence they need to feel and be whole in every area of their life.
Professional: I am a licensed clinical social worker, certified health coach, and yoga teacher. I have completed a variety of trauma-focused trainings including trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TFCBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and cognitive processing therapy (CPT). Since earning my degree, I have worked with adults, children and families who have struggled with everyday life challenges, self-esteem issues, finances, health, relationships, parenting, depression, anxiety, and trauma.
Personal: In my free time, I love traveling, working out, and spending time with friends and family. When I’m not working or studying, I’m likely reading, listening to an audiobook/podcast, watching a tv show, or trying a new restaurant.
